"One of the most beautiful things to happen to me in a long time" — Karrishma |
Since the beginning of humankind people have sung — most everyday, most everywhere, mostly together. The ancient yogis recognized this innately human power of the voice and harnessed it to fuel transformative practices that open the heart, clear the mind, bring peace — and ultimately, liberation.
Join Ann to learn how the yogic sound practices of ancient India can bring big benefits to our contemporary lives. Enjoy ten full hours of skillful instruction in mantra meditation (japa), devotional chanting (kirtan) and deep listening (naada). Learn to love your voice. Get the low-down on how, when and why to chant OM. Receive "sound prescriptions" to take home with you!
Expect a rich and satisfying weekend of liberating your voice, diving into silence, and connecting with one another. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome. The reluctant encouraged!
EXPERIENCE HOW SOUND YOGA CAN:
~ open the heart and create connection ~ bring clarity of mind and understanding ~ reduce anxiety and increase groundedness ~ create peace and comfort ~ lead to deep states of meditation ~ balance our highly visual lives ~ be devotional without necessarily being religious |
