DEEP LISTENING FOR INNER PEACE
“Indescribable bliss arises in the heart of the yogi
who meditates on the inner sound.”
— Hatha Yoga Pradipika
We meditate to find peace. The original hatha yogis’ meditation of choice was deep listening meditation, or Naada Yoga. A profound practice then, Naada Yoga may have even more to offer us in our noisy, distracted lives today.
While accessible to all, the terse, somewhat mysterious instructions given for hearing “the unstruck inner sound” of Naada Yoga can be confounding. Sound Yoga instructor Ann Dyer provides valuable guidance, methodically building our understanding and skill so that we may find greater tranquility and clarity through deep listening.
Join Ann for a relaxing afternoon of discussion on foundational sound yoga principles, and guided sound meditations from the hatha yoga tradition. Return home having experienced for yourself how deep listening can bring depth and clarity to your yoga and your life.
